The Problem We Solve

Affordable, experienced support — without the headache of a full-time, long-term hire.

We've built our experience supporting:

01
European/LatAm Companies
With operations in the U.S.
02
U.S. Companies
Doing business in Europe and LatAm.
03
Lean Legal & Business Teams
That need senior judgment without adding headcount.
04
Early-Stage Startups
Navigating contracts, ethics, and compliance for the first time.

Same standard of judgment across all jurisdictions. What changes is how we apply it — to your structure, your risk profile, and the level of discretion you expect.

"We have your back — with senior judgment, on your terms."

What We Do

Contracts, workplace ethics, and compliance — handled in one place with senior judgment.

01
Contract Drafting & Negotiation

Precise drafting and negotiation — protecting your position, minimizing risk, and keeping deals moving.

Key Differentiator
02
Workplace Ethics Training & Coaching

Live workshops and 1:1 manager coaching that build speak-up culture and resolve conflicts ethically — before they escalate into retaliation claims.

03
Reporting Integrity & Investigation Readiness

Strengthening how workplace concerns are raised, escalated, investigated, and resolved — so any formal investigation is sound, documented, and defensible.

04
Compliance Infrastructure & Implementation

Moving from informal practices to clear, usable compliance infrastructure — policies, codes of conduct, and third-party risk processes people actually use.

Workplace Ethics & Reporting Integrity

The risk most companies underestimate starts closer to home.

Retaliation: The Hidden Risk.

Retaliation is the hidden risk behind most private settlements in large corporations. Left unmanaged, it can damage a company's reputation, create serious financial exposure, and destroy employee morale.

It rarely begins with fraud or a major regulatory failure. More often, it starts in how workplace concerns are raised, escalated, investigated, and resolved.

Our focus: minimizing the potential claims that turn into costly settlements.

This is where Atlântica works closest with your team — running workshops, coaching managers through live situations, and helping resolve concerns before they escalate into formal complaints.

"When internal reporting processes are unclear, subjective, overly dependent on hierarchy, or poorly structured, a workplace concern can quickly become a retaliation claim, an investigation issue, reputational exposure, or a costly dispute."

Speak-Up Culture
Workshops that build the trust employees need to raise concerns early.
Manager Accountability
Equipping managers to respond appropriately when concerns are raised.
Case Coaching
Working directly with managers on live situations, before they escalate.
Investigation Readiness
Making sure any formal investigation is sound, documented, and defensible.
Manager Training
Trainings, workshops, and coaching that help managers resolve conflicts ethically — before they turn into retaliation.

Atlântica Crossborder

Karla brings to Atlântica Crossborder more than 20 years of experience across international corporate, transactional, compliance, and cross-border business environments, including more than 10 years working in the United States.

She holds two master's degrees from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and has built her career across European, U.S., and Latin American markets. Her work is grounded in a practical understanding of how business decisions move across jurisdictions, cultures, internal stakeholders, and operational constraints.

Having worked in international law firms and as senior in-house legal counsel for Swiss-based global organizations, Karla understands the reality many organizations face: sophisticated commercial, ethics, and compliance needs that exceed internal capacity, but do not always justify a permanent senior hire.

Atlântica Crossborder was built for that space — providing experienced judgment, structured support, and cross-border perspective without the cost or rigidity of a full-time role.

Based in Boca Raton, Florida, Karla works with cross-border and local companies that need experienced judgment across contracts risk, workplace ethics, compliance, and business operations.
